Achievements in ALS Treatment
At our clinic, we have observed significant results in treating patients with ALS.
The cases we’ve worked with include all of the following ALS onset types:
- Upper limb onset type
- Bulbar onset type
- Lower limb onset type
Our results are confirmed by measurable improvements in muscle strength and muscle mass.
Specific Examples of Improvement
Upper Limb Onset Type
Female, 70s
Experienced bulbar symptoms typically seen as ALS progresses from upper limb onset.
Notable improvement in speech clarity after just one trial session.
Improvement observed in articulation of syllables such as:
“sa-sa,” “shi-shi,” “su-su,” “se-se,” “so-so” and “ra-ra,” “ri-ri,” “ru-ru,” “re-re,” “ro-ro”.
Male, 20s
Diagnosed with upper limb onset ALS.
Since around January (after 6 months of treatment), gradual and ongoing increases in muscle mass and reactivation of previously immobile muscles have been observed.
Improvements have continued over a 3-month period.
■As of Apr.18
■As of Apr.12
■As of Feb.22
Female, 50s
Showed improvement in tongue tremors, a typical bulbar symptom following upper limb onset.
Male, 30s
Also presented with tongue tremors due to bulbar symptoms following upper limb onset.
Tremors were mild due to early-stage progression.
Female, 60s
Improvement in hand-grasping function
Marked difference in speed when repeatedly opening and closing the hand before and after treatment.
Significant reduction in fasciculations (muscle twitching) at rest.
Bulbar Onset Type
Male, 60s
Improvement in speech clarity for syllables such as “sa-sa,” “shi-shi,” “su-su,” “se-se,” “so-so.”
Female, 30s
Improvement in the motion of gripping and releasing the hand.
Lower Limb Onset Type
Male, 60s
Improved leg-lifting motion observed three weeks after beginning treatment.
